Newt was an unintentional addition to the WRR family, but found himself at a police holding facility in La Junta at three mos of age. With no other rescue having stepped forward to claim him, and a euthanasia deadline pending, we placed a hold on him and scooped him up. While Newt has harbored some trauma holdovers, he does his very best and loves children.
Newt has racked up quite a few training miles and continues his knowledge and behavior journey. He is prone to skin issues and demolishes any and all toys (except Guru balls). Your sponsorship would contribute to his care, training, and arsenal of enrichment toys.
