Hi there! I'm Praline and I'm approximately 10 years old. I'm a Border Collie mix who was rescued from a kill shelter in New Orleans. I love snacks and tolerate cats.

Fuzz Buzz (Lady Fuzzington Dutchess of Worscestershire)

Greetings! I'm Fuzz and I'm a senior kitty that had previously been abandoned and injured. My former owners moved away and left me outside. I was attacked by a fox and almost lost one of my hind legs. But caring and dedicated veterinary staff saved my life and leg. 

Pancho Villa

My name is Pancho and I'm the glue that holds this operation together. I'm a BLM Mustang who is 30 years old and a retired dude string horse. I pretend to loathe everyone but secretly love the attention.

Meffs

Meffs is a 1.5 yr old dwarf hamster adopted from the Humane Society when she was 6 weeks old. She has a massive habitat and loves to be held.

Chewbacca Anne

"Chewy" is Leia's dipstick sister and is very cuddly. She purrs aggressively and where Leia is the brains of the duo, Chewy is the rage and the giver of hugs. She can often be found looking somewhat dazed and confused.

Leia

My name is Leia. I'm only a year old and along with my sister, Chewbacca, we survived FIP killing most of our litter and mother, sadly. But we're strong and healthy and love to make people laugh!

Starbox

Starbox is a female "elephant-ear" Betta that is only about 1 year old. Starbox is curiously interactive and loves it when people sit in front of her tank to visit.

Wicket

Wicket was the result of a foster failure situation. She's unquestionably the smartest and spiciest resident that we have. Wicket is Kate's shadow and can be a little shy.

Prentiss

Prentiss was brought to Kate's vet clinic when he was 6 weeks old as a stray with damage to his eyes. He's nonvisual in one but you'd never know it. Prentiss thrives on chaos and loves children.

Kevin

I'm a Betta fish that Kate insisted on rescuing from a pet store. I was pretty rough looking at first but I'm at an advanced age and loving my life!

Big Jeff

​We obtained two mice brothers who quarrel and climb on their roof feverishly.

Puss'n'Boots

Named by a 6 yr old, Boots is the other mouse brother. Both mice come when called and are very sweet.

Demi

I'm Demi and I'm around 9 years of age. I was a rescue from a horrific abuse situation in Colorado Springs. I sustained significant head trauma and don't remember things from day to day, but I'm as sweet as you please.

Flicka

Flicka is one of our geriatric residents. Even with her long list of medical issues, Flicka brings a lot of joy to her feline friends. Her beautiful green eyes bring you in, but her curious and playful demeanor keep you engaged.
